No Cake Smash but Watermelon for Baby’s First Birthday Photos

Beacause it is summer, let's keep it cool and healthy. Instead of cake smash, the family decided to celebrate the baby’s first birthday with some watermelon in the backyard.

We staterd some playtime at home where childhood memoris begin. I loved how mom and dad were engaged playing with their baby boy, and then grandparents joined for some photos.

We then went outside so baby could drive his first car - his birthday gift - in the nighborhood. It was so fun to see his excitment and happines on his face. We wrapped the photo shoot with some watermelon to cool off.
