Evergreen's Winter Village: Winter Must Visit for families in Toronto | Toronto Family Candid Photographer | Bloomlight Photography

Holiday season in Toronto is so much fun and every year, the city brings something new and magical for the Torontonians.

Toronto heard and experienced the Christmas Market in the Distillery for many years, but there is also similar fun places that I can say is more kids friendly in the mid city. This is for those who like to avoid driving to downtown Toronto and prefer daily activities.

Today, my family and I visited the Evergreen’s Winter Village at the Brick works. There are lots to do here and I love to share this with you. Specially if you are a family with little kids, this is a must visit in the winter Holiday season.

Where to eat?

You can start your day with a warm drink and a take away breakfast at the Winter Village café. Also in the vendor market section, there are lots of food trucks serving burgers, fries, Mexican food and kind of everything for all tastes. These are good options if you arrive here at lunch time.

For Marshmallow lovers, there is a booth just in front of a skate filed, that you can fry your own marshmallow on a fire. Sound like fun, Right?

Winter Activity for children

…and here parents and children can also do ice skating. Just rent your ice-skate boots at the desk and enjoy this winter activity while you have a view of Christmas trees in the center of ice field.

Have you found your Christmas tree?

Are you still looking? Here you can find different tree sizes. The Christmas Garden Market is filled with beautiful trees and even though you are not planning to buy, just walking by the trees is so enjoyable. There is a bench by threes with a fire place that you can take a rest and warm up yourself and your kids if you feel a bit cold.

Magical Sight Seeing

The small section of this year’s winter village in the Brick Works is inspired by light effects in our city. This section is also free to public and the light play is joyful for little children and even for adults.

And below is a portrait of myself at the light play section.

I hope you get a chance to plan and visit the Winter Village this holiday season.
